Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Participant”, “you”, or “your”) and TensorNova (“TensorNova”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a corporate IT training institute registered at Sector 85, Sohana, SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab, India — 140308.
By submitting an enrolment form, making a payment, or attending any TensorNova training programme — whether in-person, virtual, or blended — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not enrol in our programmes. For corporate clients, the signatory on the training agreement is deemed to accept these Terms on behalf of all nominated participants.
2. Enrolment & Registration
- Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a valid purchase order from an approved corporate account. Seats are not guaranteed until payment is received.
- TensorNova reserves the right to refuse enrolment at its sole discretion, including where a participant does not meet stated prerequisites.
- Batch sizes are limited. In the event a batch is full, participants will be placed on a waitlist and offered the next available batch or a full refund.
- TensorNova reserves the right to reschedule, merge, or cancel batches with a minimum 48 hours' notice. In case of cancellation by TensorNova, participants will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they hold any prerequisites stated in the course description. TensorNova is not responsible for failure to benefit from a course due to missing prerequisites.
3. Payment Terms
Individual Participants
Full course fees are payable at the time of enrolment via our online payment gateway (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI). EMI options may be available on select courses — contact our team for details.
Corporate Clients
Organisations with an approved credit account may pay within 30 days of the invoice date. A Purchase Order number must be provided at the time of booking. Late payments attract interest at 1.5% per month. GST (18%) is applicable to all invoices as per Indian tax regulations.
Taxes
All prices displayed are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). GST at the applicable rate will be added to all invoices. TensorNova is registered under GST and will provide a valid tax invoice for every transaction.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations by Participants
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Exam voucher costs, where already procured from the certification body, are non-refundable under any circumstances.
5. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain professional standards of behaviour throughout all training sessions, whether in-person or virtual. TensorNova reserves the right to remove any participant who:
- Disrupts training sessions or impedes the learning of other participants.
- Engages in any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour toward instructors or fellow participants.
- Reproduces, distributes, or shares TensorNova course materials without prior written permission.
- Attempts to circumvent assessment processes or engage in academic misconduct during examinations.
Removal for misconduct does not entitle the participant to any refund.
6. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
All course content, materials, presentations, lab guides, video recordings, and exercises provided by TensorNova are the exclusive intellectual property of TensorNova or its licensors. By enrolling, participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials solely for their own personal learning during and after the course.
Participants may not: reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works of any TensorNova course material without prior written consent. This includes screen recording of live or virtual sessions, which is prohibited without express written permission from TensorNova management.
7. Confidentiality
For corporate training engagements, both parties acknowledge that confidential information shared during programme customisation and delivery shall be kept strictly confidential. TensorNova will not disclose the names of corporate clients or share any proprietary business information shared in the course of delivering a customised programme to any third party, except as required by law.
8. Certification & Exam Outcomes
TensorNova provides preparation training for third-party certifications (Microsoft, EC-Council, AWS, Google, Axelos, etc.). Certification exams are administered by independent certification bodies and TensorNova makes no guarantee that a participant will pass any examination. Exam fees, where included in a course package, are paid to the certification body on the participant's behalf and are non-refundable once the exam voucher is issued, regardless of the exam outcome.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, TensorNova shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your enrolment or participation in a training programme.
- Loss of employment, business opportunities, income, or professional reputation, even if TensorNova has been advised of the possibility of such losses.
- Technical failures, internet outages, or platform disruptions during virtual training sessions, where these are outside TensorNova's reasonable control.
- The accuracy or completeness of information provided by third-party certification bodies.
TensorNova's total liability to any participant for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total course fees paid by that participant for the programme in question.
10. Force Majeure
TensorNova shall not be in breach of these Terms and shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, power outages, or internet infrastructure failures. In such circumstances, TensorNova will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected batches.
11. Amendments to Terms
TensorNova reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants by email. Continued enrolment or participation after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms — including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination — shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, India.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations for a period of 30 days from the date written notice of the dispute is given.
